Biography & Contact
I received my PhD in comparative literature, specialising in critical theory, from the University of California, Irvine. Through my interdisciplinary research, I examine the strategic cultures of revolutionary and socialist blocs, aiming to reimagine transitions from capitalism.
At present, I am exploring the Sino-American rivalry over cyber sovereignty, focusing on the role of the Digital Silk Road in this rivalry. I have a keen interest in artificial intelligence and in training a generative model with an aptitude for leftist thinking.
In my doctoral dissertation, I examined the coevolution of capitalist and anti-capitalist cultures of strategy since the seventeenth century, working across the disciplinary boundaries of political and aesthetic philosophy, international relations theory, political science and economics, and world literature and television.
I incorporate my research into my teaching and writings to cultivate new paradigms for strategic action and imagination. A fictional novel inspired by my research explorations is nearly complete.
